This International conference is hosted by India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi, and is supported by the Pune Knowledge Cluster (PKC), Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University (SGT University), CODATA – Committee on Data of the International Science Council (ISC), and Open Health Systems Laboratory (OHSL) as Knowledge Partners and with assistance from Indian National Science Academy (INSA) which is an adhering body to International Science Council (ISC) on behalf of the Government of India. The conference will primarily include sessions on open science and open data, FAIR, research data management, data ethics, data licensing, data stewardship, data science education and training, data research infrastructures, and data platform. Discussions at the conference will be focused on identifying aspects of Data Science that will leverage the rapidly evolving digital ecosystem and understanding existing impediments in some of the major socio-economically relevant disciplines. The sessions will be led by experts; active participation by young enthusiasts will be encouraged. The aim will be to encourage innovative partnerships for addressing future challenges in the field.

Special Event: A Round Table on Digital Twins | 10th September 2023 at 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, at IIC New Delhi: We live in a world characterized by ever-increasing dynamics and uncertainty. Digital Twins provides fast, efficient, and effective means to quickly scale and solve in these highly uncertain times. As the digital twin consortium gears up to launch its India regional branch, this roundtable acts as a preview to emerging digital twin technologies and their varied applications with particular focus on the Indian context. Global and local experts from telecom, logistics, retail, healthcare and others will present meaningful discussions and use cases. Leading speakers from digital twin consortium member companies, TCS Research, Aston University, Birmingham and various others have already confirmed participation. We expect a broad ranging participation from industry as well as academia leading to lively and in-depth discussion. Register for the Round Table.
