The Innovate India 2013 is NRDC's annual event which comprises of a Conference and a Prize Award ceremony. The conference aims to provide a platform to entrepreneurs, corporates, academicians, researchers and students for an exchange of ideas on latest technological innovations and developments addressing the multidimensional challenges and interrelated characteristics of science and innovation for sustainable development.
Fostering innovation is an important nation building exercise. Innovative steps taken towards skill development and technical training leads to development of new processes and products that further leads to strengthening of services and manufacturing sectors.
Objective of the Conference
This two-day summit will deliberate on areas of innovation that drive equitable growth. The Conference will cover a range of issues pertaining to innovation, providing concrete examples of technology transfer relating to green technologies, food, healthcare and education and will also address questions relating to the culture of innovation for MSMEs, strategic product design and skill development for technology diffusion.
The Conference will address on issues that stimulate innovation which can be integrated into coherent strategies spanning across R&D, production capabilities, access to markets and effective regulations. The conference will also discuss the role of intellectual property, which is one of the principal tools for providing incentives for innovation, for investment in R&D and for structuring collaborations and licenses aimed at transfer of technologies.
The pan India success of Innovate India Conferences organized by NRDC over the years has been very well received and appreciated by the scientific communities and industrial bodies. Procedure for Submission of Abstract/Papers for Souvenir
Participants/Authors are invited to send their abstract/papers based on the theme of the conference. Authors may kindly follow the guideline given below while submission of papers/ abstracts:
I. The abstracts/papers should be in English
II. Use Times New Roman Font with 12 Pitch size
III. Abstracts may be restricted to 250 words and papers may not exceed 1000 words
IV. Submit in editable format, preferably in MS Word document to LNARAYAN@NRDC.IN
V. Give title, name of authors with affiliation, organization, full address, email and contact phone and mobile numbersVI. Please submit on or before February 13, 2013 in electronic form only.
