IIST is celebrating its second Research Scholars Day, a two day event scheduled on 17th & 18th December 2012.
The event is conducted to provide a platform for research-scholars to showcase their ongoing research-work in the form of presentations and discussions. Apart from IIST, participation of research scholars from renowned research institutes across the country is expected. This programme will provide an opportunity for the research scholars to exhibit their innovative research ideas, get feedback from eminent faculty members, and to collaborate with experts.
Abstracts are invited from research scholars for poster/oral presentation during this programme. Research scholars can send one page abstract in any of the streams mentioned below. Lodging, boarding and traveling allowance (as applicable) will be provided by IIST.
Tentative Research Areas
Research Scholars may prepare abstracts in any of the following subcategories:
1. Engineering
(a) Signal Processing
(b) Communication
(c) Control and Automation
(d) Power Electronics
(e) Fluid Dynamics
(f) Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer
(g) Solid Mechanics
(h) Manufacturing Technology
2. Sciences
(a) Physics
(b) Chemistry
(c) Mathematics
(d) Earth & Space Sciences
3. Humanities
(a) Language
(b) Economics
(c) Law
Reasearch Abstracts shall be prepared using the template available for download here.
