Advertisement for WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for Project Associate / Data Entry Operators for the Activity entitled Global Strategy & Plan of Action on Public Health and Intellectual Property (GSPOA) of India: Status and Proposals. It is a limited tenure project. The project will have to be completed by 15th November.

 

NISTADS will conduct WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for the selection of two candidates for Project Associate work and two candidates for Data Entry Operator work for the Activity entitled Global Strategy & Plan of Action on Public Health and Intellectual Property (GSPOA) of India: Status and Proposals on August 9, 2011. Selected candidates will have to undertake the completion of assigned work during the period of 15th August- 15th November.

 

Project Associates (2)

Concerned candidates for project associate (s) work should possess relevant post graduate qualifications in biological / health / pharmacy / social sciences / intellectual property law and sufficient research experience in the work to be undertaken in the project to be eligible for consideration in the project for the post. Selected candidate will get Rs. 20,000 per month during the relevant project period of 15th August-15th November.

 

Data Entry Operators (2)

Concerned candidates for data entry work should possess either MCA plus one year experience / BCA with three years experience in the area of secretarial work, data base building, database searches and report editing to be eligible for consideration in the project for the post.  Selected candidate will get Rs. 10,000 per month during the relevant project period of 15th August-15th November.

 

Below we indicate the scope of work proposed to be undertaken under this project.

1)       Investment in R&D and Innovation to address health needs of the country [including public private partnership models, push incentives for research by reducing inherent risks in R & D, and regulatory environment for rewarding sound research into priority diseases, including neglected tropical diseases (e. g devising a fast track system for grant of regulatory approval for marketing of new medicines based on national health priorities)]

2)       Mapping of Gap and Need Analysis on delivery and access of medicines, medical products & technologies (including medical devices) in the country, including impact of incentive mechanisms on innovation and access to medicines, medical products and technologies

3)       Mapping of Gap and Need Analysis on delivery and access of traditional medicines in India, including impact of incentive mechanisms on innovation and access to health products

4)       Impact of IPR and TRIPS Agreement on the development of, and access to, essential medicines and healthcare products in India

 

Interested candidates are requested to send their CVs before August 12, 2011 by 9.30 am to the email address of project leader Dinesh Abrol, Chief Scientist (dinesh.abrol@gmail.com) and project leader. Walk-in-interviews would take place in the forenoon of August 12. Interviews will start by 11.00 hrs. Interested candidates are requested to be present in NISTADS with the documents relevant to their qualifications and experience by 9.30 am on August 12, 2011.
