Imminent risk of a global water crisis (UNESCO/UN-Water)

On 14 March, UNESCO is holding two online press briefings ahead of the publication of the annual World Water Development Report.

Tuesday 14 March 2023

Lead author of the report, Richard Conor, will present the key findings, provide details on case studies and answer questions from the press. This briefing will offer journalists the opportunity to collect all useful information on this subject several days before the report is published at the United Nations Water Conference in New York on 22 March.

The United Nations World Water Development Report (UN WWDR) is the United Nation's flagship report on water. It offers an authoritative and comprehensive assessment of the overall state, use and management of the world's freshwater resources and aims to provide decision-makers with tools to formulate and implement sustainable water policies.

THE REPORT AND RELATED DOCUMENTS ARE UNDER
