[apeid.higher_education.bgk] TO HED Organizations/Experts _ UNESCO Call for contributions for the enrichment of the HED Roadmap (15 Feb 2023)

Sent on behalf of the WHEC Secretariat at UNESCO Paris

Dear Colleagues and partners in Asia and the Pacific,

Following UNESCO’s 3rd World Higher Education Conference (WHEC2022) held in May 2022, UNESCO invites higher education stakeholders to provide feedback and contribute to enriching the Higher Education Roadmap, entitled Beyond Limits. New Ways to Reinvent Higher Education, presented at the Conference.

The Higher Education Roadmap is not binding to Member States. It aims to provide guidelines for reinventing higher education, by identifying key challenges and possible pathways for addressing them. The document resulted from research, consultation and dialogue led by UNESCO and partners. It was presented as a “living” technical proposal to encourage further thinking and debate, to be enriched by ideas shaped and practices presented during the Conference, and beyond.

Following the close of the WHEC2022, UNESCO is now launching a call for contributions (worldwide), in the form of a questionnaire, that seeks to collect relevant feedback, novel perspectives/information and outstanding examples from the UNESCO Member States, higher education related organizations, and individuals/experts.

Higher education related organizations / experts are kindly invited to provide inputs on the Higher Education Roadmap.

The questionnaire can be accessed via the following link:  Contributions to Road Map

The deadline for completing the online questionnaire is 15 February 2023.

We thank you in advance for your kind collaboration. Should you have any question, we encourage you to contact UNESCO Paris at whec2022@unesco.org, or the Bangkok Office at: eisd.bgk@unesco.org.

All the best,

Libing, Heejeong and Wes
