Call for Papers

Banwarilal Bhalotia College, Asansol, India is going to host a 2-day International e-Conference, e-ConSus 2020 on 13th June - 14th June, 2020. The e-Conference on "Revisiting Strategies for Sustainable Development" will reflect new and emerging scholarship in Sustainable Development and allied fields.

This conference intends to bring together a plethora of leading experts from multiple disciplines to discuss and deliberate on innovations on the broad theme of Sustainable development from the various angles of natural science, social science and humanities.

The Conference Organization Committee welcomes abstracts for papers presentations that explore recent trends and developments in Sustainable Development from multidisciplinary viewpoint. The event seeks to serve as a space for the discussion of unpublished and current research papers dedicated to critical studies on the discourse of Sustainable Development.  

Under the umbrella of this topic, the Conference includes, but is not limited to, the following sub-themes:

  • Sustainable Human Society
  • Sustainable STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)
  • Sustainable Culture
  • Ecological Humanities
  • Sustainable education and learning practices
  • Economics of sustainable development
  • Sustainable development goals
  • Sustainable Resource Management (Human resources, Land, Water, Soil, Waste and e-Waste Management etc.)
  • Sustainable City ,organizations and transport
  • Sustainable agriculture
  • Sustainable health and happiness
  • Gender in Sustainable development
  • Indigenous societies and sustainable development
  • Data, Digitalism and Sustainable development
  • Green Movement

The Conference Committee also welcomes paper proposals on current research not restricted to the above mentioned sub-themes but falling under the broad themes of Sustainable Development.

Paper proposals should include a title, keywords, a 250-word abstract, and a brief biographical note indicating the presenter's name, designation, and institutional affiliation.

Important dates

  • 25 May 2020 – Last date for submission of summary of proposal
  • 02 June 2020 - Notification of acceptance of paper for presentation

 

Participants may present papers in English or Bengali or Hindi and may be invited to submit full paper for publication afterwards. You are cordially invited to participate and present your paper.
