The immense success of India's atomic energy programme development has led to transforming India's energy scenario in a big way. One of the key architects in this regard has been Dr. Anil Kakodkar, Former Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission of India and Former Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy. Recently, Dr. Kakodkar has come out with a memoir that discusses the shaping of the narrative.
In light of this, Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) is organising a talk by Dr. Anil Kakodkar, on his aforesaid book "Fire and Fury: Transforming India's Strategic Identity" at 11.30 am on Thursday, 6 February 2020 at the Marigold Hall (Entry from Gate No. 1), India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
A panel discussion has also been planned after the Talk.
