Dear readers,

Greetings from ICT in Education, UNESCO Bangkok!

This is a special edition that hopes to collect your feedback and ideas on the Newsletter through an online survey. This edition also provides an overview of our two latest important events: the RDTC Regional Seminar 2015, and the Regional Policy Forum on the Promotion of ASEAN Integration through Open and Distance Higher Education.

Since 2005, we have published more than a hundred issues of the ICT in Education Newsletter, sent to almost 6000 subscribers worldwide. It is now time for us to receive your feedback and see what you have to say about the Newsletter, which will greatly help us in further improving the quality and content according to your needs, preferences, and interests.

The Forum brought together higher education and government officials as well as experts to discuss and engage in an exchange of knowledge on quality assurance and accreditation in regard to working with open and distance education.

The Seminar, convened since 2010, explored the theme of teacher training and safe, effective and responsible use of ICT, with the sub-themes of media and information literacy, OERs, and teacher professional learning communities.
