The Honorable Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Govt. of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Thomas Rachel and the Honorable Minister of Science and Technology, Govt. of India will inaugurate the event, which will comprise of key people from the Indian and German ministries, research institutions and industry.
The programme will include presentations by eminent researches and industry captains on innovative technology and programmes in the field of Advanced Manufacturing, Energy and Environment and Life Sciences. A highlight of the event is a partnering meet with the Indian institutions and Research organizations on the 8th December.
PARALLEL SESSION I - Lean & Green - Opportunities for Collaboration in the Manufacturing Sector
- Brief overview of the Manufacturing Sector (status research, market opportunities, Government policies,infrastructure, etc)
- Brief Presentation by German and Indian companies/research institutions on technology offer.
PARALLEL SESSION II - Solar Energy and Water Technologies - Opportunities for Collaboration in Energy and Environment
- Brief overview of the Solar and Water Technology Sector (status research, market opportunities, Government policies, infrastructure, etc)
- Brief Presentation by German and Indian Companies/research institutions on technology offer.
PARALLEL SESSION III - Bioeconomics - Bio resources for Sustainable Industrial and Energetic Applications
- Brief overview of the Life Science Sector (status research, market opportunities, Government policies, infrastructure, etc)
- Brief Presentation by German and Indian companies/research institutions on technology offer.
There will be an opportunity to participate in guided visits of Excellent Delhi research on 9 December 2010, at 10:00-15:00.
