In order to engage potential stake holders in a broad public discussion on nuclear energy development in India, the Indian Nuclear Society (INS), the most prominent professional society of nuclear scientists and engineers in the country and TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) New Delhi are jointly organising a one-day national workshop on "Nuclear energy development in India: Addressing climate change, public perception and large scale deployment" on 13 August 2009 at TERI, New Delhi.
