Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, an NGO, is organizing an international conference on “Combating Challenges of Climate Change.” The conference will deliberate on various technical and ethical aspects connected with the theme of the conference on 7th & 8th February 2009 in Vigyan Bhawan followed by one day Empowerment Retreat on 9th February 2009 at its Northern India Campus for Higher Learning – Om Shanti Retreat Center (located near Gurgaon) which will quench the thirst of those who seek the deepest peace, the greatest love and the truest happiness in life. The conference is co-sponsored by National Disaster Management Authority, Union Ministries of Earth Sciences, Environment & Forests, Science & Technology, New & Renewable Energy, Defence (DRDO), National Hydroelectric Power Corporation and supported by many others.
